Here is a simple photobook created at shutterfly.com This was the simple, hands off approach. In just a matter of minutes it was complete. I could have made it much more advanced but I wanted to see what their simple process did. I do recommend checking it out.
We are new to digital scrapbooking. Take a look around. We hope you enjoy the layouts we've made. In the future there will be templates and other freebies for download. For right now it's just us "showing off" our love for scrapping and our family.

Renn Faire Take 2
Ok! I admit it! We couldn't get enough of the faire so we went back a second weekend. *blush* Anyway, we went with Rich's parents and Kamron. It was fun. Here's the page that followed:
Never Forgotten
It's been over 4 years now buddy. I still miss you like it was yesterday. Made this page and sent it to Sue and Ashley on the 4 year anniversary. Man I wish you could see Ash now, she is quite the young lady and her boyfriend doesn't look like he needs an ass kicking. I don't see many updates on Andy but he looks like he is doing good. Sue found someone and seems happy too. Even though life goes on, we do not forget you!

It's a Richie!
Sometimes there is more than one meaning of a name. "Richie" has become not only a nickname in our house but almost it's own title. Hearing the sounds of feet scampering around the house and the kids hollaring "Mooooooooooooom" is soon followed by "Riiiichieeeee". It sounds like a melody made just for us; a song I can never get enough of.
Summer has been filled with many laughs, fun and snuggles thanks to "The Richie". After enjoying the last several weeks with my wonderful family celebrating Bret's birthday with an awesome party, Aly's birthday at the local water park & BK, a first (for the kids and I) spending the day at the Rennisance Faire, hours of Rockband Jammin' and countless laughs because of Richie! These moments & memories are what inspired this scrapbook page.
This layout was made for a contest using a template from Peppermint Creative.

Scouts
This time of year is rediculously slow for what we are used to. Normally we are rushing around preparing for camp, rushing off to camp and I am usually having my Bret withdrawls. Due to Bret taking the year off and focusing on school, there is no camp this year. We decided we would reminice of past years and made this double page layout for 2009 Summer Camp.
Missin' Friends
I made these last night and this morning with my kids' input. We love it here in Michigan but we do miss our special friends back in KC.

Challenges
This page was done for my first scrapbooking challenge at Peppermint Creative. I just hope they reply soon because I was unable to post it for some reason. This page is of my daughter rockin' out at a concert. The journal is lyrics to a song she wrote at 9 years old.
This page was done for my first scrapbooking challenge at Free Digital Scrapbooking. I thought it would be fun to look back over the years since my son just turned the big 13. I hope you enjoy!

Getting Started
These are all double page layouts made in scrapbookflair or Adobe InDesign for a photo book I made for my mom for Christmas.
Unfortunatly, I did not save the designer details for the elements found on the web because I didn't think I would ever start a blog or anything. As I post newer pages, you will see appropriate credit given.
